HERE'S THE ANSWER..

_____________________________

♠️ Average speed is ratio of total distance traveled to the total time taken..

✔️ Avg Speed = Total distance / total time taken

⏺️ Total distance = 100 + 100 = 200 m

⏺️ time 1 = 100 / 5 = 20 seconds

✔️ Time = Distance / speed

⏺️ Time 2 = 100 / 1 = 100 seconds

⏺️ Total time = 100 + 20 = 120 second...

=> Avg Speed = 200 / 120

=> Avg Speed = 5 / 3 m / s

Here is your solution

we know that

Average Speed = Total distance / total time taken

️Total distance = 100 + 100 = 200m

Time 1st = 100/5 = 20s

Time = Distance/speed

Time 2nd = 100/1 = 100s

Total time = 100+20 = 120s

Now,

Average Speed = Total distance /total time

Average speed = 200/120

=>Avg Speed = 5/3m/s

I hope it helps you
