Dear Diary,
Today, while going to the school, I saw a girl in untidy clothes., My mother told me that she was the daughter of the maid. I was moved to see her. The sweet, innocent face of the girl kept on haunting me the whole day. I came back home and was desperate to talk to her.
I talked to her and tried to convince her about the importance of going to school and about the ban on child labour. I told her that education is the way to come out from ignorance and suppression. I tried to make her understand the importance of education in one’s life and the benefits of being educated. She told me about her poverty and helplessness. She told me that she also wanted to go to school, but her parents did not allow her. I told her that I would talk to her parents and try to convince them.
The girl was happy to hear that and promised that she would definitely go to school if her parents would allow her.
Today I saw a student working as a maid to pay her bills. The other students were teasing her. I felt soo sad for her. I gave her some money and food. After that I went to my parents discussing about child labor. When I found out my parents wanted another baby but a foster. Turned out the girl I met Earlier was foster. We adopted her. I got a new sister. I am soo happy. Later we found out that girl was actually a very rich kid and was testing us. She gave us a lot of money. Kindness never goes unpaid
