Hello! Here's your answer:-

The air is a composition of many gases. One of them include water vapour in the form of humidity.
It is formed when water warms and changes to gas.
Now when this warm humidity in the air comes in contact with the cold surface of a glass containing cold water, it loses its latent heat of vaporisation and condenses to form droplets of water on the outer surface of the glass.

As the water and glass is a colder temperature to the air, evaporated water will loose energy when coming into contact with the glass, changing it's state into a liquid.
