My Grandmother
My grandmother is seventy years old, but quite sturdy for her
age. She is fair, with rosy cheeks, and a shock of snow-white hair,
strands of which fall over her face. Wrinkdes crisscross her face.
and her eyes almost close when she laughs. She is always dressed in
pastel-coloured clothes, and her hair is done up in a bun, and she
smells of talcum powder. She sings lullabies to my baby sister. She
loves to read and recite poems aloud. She always has a story ready
for every occasion. I love snuggling against her at night. She loves
me and supports me in every way possible.
