To this diary that carries the details of my everyday life-
The last week of December 2021 was very blissful as I met my childhood friend after a long time. He invited me to his village, Kovalam and it seemed that the place is God's own due to its beautiful scenery. It just touched my heart.
It was my Christmas holidays when I was invited by my friend. The weather there was so comforting and pleasant. The beach was just nearby and was also named Kovalam. The beach was surrounded by long coconut and palm trees. The sunsets on the beach cannot be explained with mere words.
The lush green environment of the village was soothing. The village had several sprawling paddy fields. We went fishing one day. I was very new to this activity. My friend taught me all the necessary things and it was almost after two hours that I was able to catch a fish while my friend was quite an expert.
The week was filled with activities. I learned surfing and we went on a night walk by the beach. We enjoyed the delicious local foods. It was too beautiful and calm.
When a person makes a diary to share his personal life or a situation, then it is to be said as Diary-entry.

Diary-Entry
Dear Diary, 09.30 PM
Kerala is referred to be "God's Own Country." And with good reason. Kerala is the only place that can surpass Kashmir's beauty and flora. I didn't want to lose out on a chance to travel to Kerala that's why, I accepted my Friend Mohit's invitation to spend a week in his hometown, Kovalam. This place is approximately 20 miles away from Thiruvananthapuram. Kovalam is known for its world-renowned beach. The village is mainly a fishing community. The entire area is engulfed in vegetation. coconut and palm palms are there across the wide green rice fields. We used to go fishing in a nearby pond all the time. A canal boat ride was one of our favorite activities.
We would spend hours strolling, swimming, or laying on the golden beach. Tea, coffee, rubber plantations, and spices flourish in Kerala. I was fortunate enough to witness the interesting Kathakali dance. But it was the Vedic oil massage in one of the local medical spas that I will never forget. It was a truly unforgettable stay.
