Total distance = 10 KM.

Change into metre = 10 KM × 1000 m (1 KM = 1000m)

= 10,000 m.

Total Time = 20 Min.

Change into sec = 20 Min × 60 sec (1 min = 60 sec)

= 1200 sec.

Average speed =

Total distance travelled / Total time taken

= 10,000 m / 1200 sec

= 8.3333333333 m/sec.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total distance =10 Km

Change 10 km in metre 10×1000 = 10000m

Total time = 20 minutes

Change 20 minutes in seconds = 28×60 =1200

Speed = Distance / time

Speed = 10000 /1200=

8.333m / s
