Dear Diary,
It was one of the worst experiences of my life. The irony of the situation was that the journey I thought to be one of the wonderful experiences actually turned into a nightmare. I was traveling to Mumbai for the first time. I was extremely excited about the long journey and my uncle's marriage that was going to take place a week later. Since I was going to stay there for a week, I had plenty of luggage with me and gifts for my uncle and would-be aunt. I took the train from New Delhi railway station and sat on my window seat. I was enjoying the journey.
Around 5 PM in the evening, when I went to the top seat for taking rest for some time, I fell asleep, unfortunately. When I woke up after 2-3 hours, I immediately got down to check if my luggage was okay. And what I saw was shocking, my bags were missing along with the gift boxes which Mumma had given for my uncle.
I realized that my phone too was missing. I tried to look for the thief around everywhere on the train but in vain. At last, I borrowed a passenger's phone to contact Mumma and tell her about the incident. I filed a complaint against the theft of items at the next station. It was truly one of the worst and most terrible experiences of my life. All my beautiful clothes, jewelry, gifts, etc. were stolen. I was extremely sad but I somehow gained the courage to manage to reach the station where my uncle picked me up.
