Dear Diary:
A very embarrassing situation arose for me yesterday while traveling to Mumbai. I was so excited about the long journey. I had a berth booked. Since I had to stay there for a week, I had been carrying much luggage. I had a bag containing my clothes and other essential things. The journey was quite pleasant until Indore. I slept on my berth at 10 p.m. since I was tired, I fell asleep soon. I woke up in the middle of the night to go to washroom. As I looked for my slippers, I could not find them. To see if my luggage was safe, I checked it. to my shock, I found the lock and chain broken. Someone had stolen my bag! My slippers were gone too! I looked here and there but in vain. At the next station I lodged complaint about , lost bag and slippers with Railway Police. But I had to continue my journey without my bag. On reaching Delhi I had to buy a couple of clothes and new shoes for me.
