Dear Diary:
Today I got the opportunity to visit an orphanage. It was my birthday and I my parents wanted to celebrate it in a different manner. So, we took the cake, eatables, and gifts for the children living in the orphanage. We had taken prior permission from the authorities who run the orphanage. The orphanage had provided us a room to celebrate my birthday. The children were waiting for us when we reached the orphanage. As I cut the cake, the children clapped and sang ‘Happy Birthday To You’. My joy was increased manifold when I celebrated my birthday with the children. They were so happy to receive gifts from. They had made up cards for me. It was my best birthday celebrations.
