So, yesterday I went to an old age home,this trip was from our school and I was very excited to visit there. When our bus stopped there and when I first saw the old age home from outside I didn't felt good ad that was not well constructed,and also they didn't done good paints on walls,piallars were having something like, which I can't describe,I also smelled very unpleasant/uncomfortable smell which I didn't liked. Then I moved forward and then entered the old age home when I stepped in I observed that staff was not behaving nicely to them,and I got a little angry but I didn't want to create a mess so I ignored it and moved forward then I saw that many elderly people were crying because of there children,I also felt bad for them. When we got ahead I started to observe things that place was very unhygienic too,floors were not clean,windows were not cleaned,etc. When that was lunch time I got there and saw that there was not enough food for everyone and they were giving very less quantity to all,but I didn't said anything I thought to tell everything later on. Some of them were also having having medical problemsi lke asthma, coughing, sneezing,etc,and then also observed that there was very poor medical facilities I got so tired to see all those things. When it was our time to leave I wish I could just buy it and repair it and give it a new shape. But you all know this could not be possible. when I got home I told Eveything to my mother and she siad that it was so bad. That's all I observed there,Thank you.

Recently I visited to an old age home named 'Second Innings' near my home on my birthday. This old-age home accommodates nearly 500 senior citizens. The purpose of my visit was to celebrate my birthday and share happiness and take blessings from them.

But as soon as I reached there, I was shocked to see the pitiable condition. The accommodation was cramped, and no hygiene was maintained in terms of food or the place.

I was shattered and saddened to learn about the complaints and grievances of our senior citizens who deserved every happiness and peace at this stage of their life.

The place even did not have proper medical facilities and basic first aid. Above all, the staff were extremely rude and had uncivil behavior towards them.

Though the time spent at the old age home was less, it has taught me an important lesson for lifetime, to not take time for granted, have decency and respect for our elders and learn to care for everyone.
