Dear Diary,
Last Sunday I visited an old age home with my friends. I saw that there were so many senior citizens in that old age home most of them were above 60 years. There are also clean rooms and bathrooms for their use. When we all visited there we all felt so much relaxed when we started talking with them. they treated us like their own grandchildren. We felt so much happy by spending time with them. They are also living in a very peaceful surrounding far from the city's sounds and pollution. The old age home authority is also treated them well and they also conduct regular health check-ups for them. there is also one big library. We also went there with some of the senior citizens and we saw that there are so many books. The library was so much neat and clean and very much disciplined. Everyone will feel comfortable when reading in that environment. When we decided to return home the people living there give us so many sweets and chocolates and also blessings.
After coming back home I thought that how a child can send his/ her parents to the old age home. I know it's a good and hygienic place but as I have my grandparents I know that they will feel more comfortable with their sons and daughters and their grandchildren. I must request every person who is sending their parents to the old age homes that don't send them there because at that stage of life they need your support, not anything else. Because they have the right to get support from you because they had done a lot for u. So don't torture them, let them live!
