Dear Diary,
Today, me and my friends went on a school trip to the old age home. This was a very much coveted trip and we had even made little things to make the residents feel good. When we visited the old home, we immediately noticed that there were people mostly above 60 years old. One man had a smartphone, probably gifted by his grandson, and needed our help to operate it. It was so much fun teaching him how to use a smartphone. It was a nice residence with peaceful surroundings. Everyone knew each other and they were like one big family which would give a feeling of cooperation. It was a very spacious facility with great sanitation and regular medical check ups. It was just like a home away from home for them. They had so many different means of recreation and they said that sometimes, kids like us would go and visit them. We promised we would come back to visit them. Today was the best school trip we had in a long long time. The people made it so much better. When we were about to leave, they even looked sad to see us go. I have to say, even I felt very sad. Even if I only met them for 1 hour and few minutes, I felt like I knew them my whole life.
