You visited the Water Park in your city as part of school excursion. You noticed that the water was not clean and also had a stale smell which could result in many water borne diseases. Write a letter in about 120 words to the editor of a local newspaper about your experience on visiting the place and how the polluted water would affect the visitors. Include the precautions that should be taken in the Water Park. You are Neeta/Nitin.

Editor,

Times of India,

New Delhi – 1.

Sir,

I shall feel obliged if you publish the following lines in your esteemed daily in the column “Letters to the Editor”.

In our colony the water supply has been cut, officially, by 25 per cent. This has caused a lot of inconvenience. It is summer season and people need more water. Due to the shortage of water, many of the people have to go without a bath daily. The resultant is, life has become miserable. People stand in queues waiting for water. For the people who go to the offices, it has become quite strenuous. There is no other source of getting water because even the hand pumps do not work properly.

If immediate steps are not taken, it may result in many disease and water famine. The authorities should take some steps for restoring the regular supply of water.

Yours faithfully,

Rajan
