You walk into a room and see a bed. On the bed there are 5 dogs, 4 cats, 4 monkeys, 5 goats and a duck. There are also three birds flying above the bed. How many legs are on the floor?

There are 5 dogs, 4 cats, 4 monkeys, and 5 goats but on the bed. Dogs, cats, monkeys, and goats have 4 legs each, so totally there are 71 legs in the bed.

There are three birds in which birds have 2 legs each. So, totally there are 6 legs flying above the bed.

When one person walks into room and wants to calculate the legs in the floor, there are only two legs (legs of the one who enter into room) in the floor and four legs of bed.

The total number of legs touching floor is six as the legs of animals and birds are on or above the bed.
