We take 2 aqueous solution each of sodium nitrate and calcium chloride . When the reaction takes place a white precipitate of calcium nitrate is formed underneath the reactant in the beaker. While the other compound is sodium chloride.

The Reaction is:

NaNO3 + CaCl2》 NaCl + CaNO3(white ppt.)
