I woke at the 5:00 and went for the morning walk and I didn’t even see a single person. I have almost forgotten that today was a great storm and suddenly the storm just begins. I was really scared, and I saw a shelter, ‘Thank God that I saw a shelter’ I thought. I ran towards the shelter and before I reach there, something struck on my left leg. I reached their crawling, it was very difficult and I wasn’t able to left leg. When I reach their saw there was an aid kit but my wound was not for first aid. But I was able to manage it. Therefore, the storm took full 2 hours to end. I heard a noise of people outside, when I was there a poor man lying and covered blood on his arm. He was lucky that his still alive, and also I knew first aid. After I finished, a boy said, ‘Look at his leg he is badly injured, we should treat him first’. I was send to a hospital safe and sound

That horrifying experience of being caught in a storm a few years ago still haunts me. I have been going on morning walks since I was a teenager. That day I was as usual out for my morning walk. But who knew that a morning that seemed exceptionally quiet and pleasant would turn into something so dangerous. I about 2 km away from home when a strong breeze started blowing. There were hardly any people that day! I had hardly walked for 30 minutes when suddenly the sky got casted by dark clouds. A gale began to blow and then it started raining very heavily. It was accompanied by lightning and thunder. I looked for a shelter and was fortunate enough to find a bus stand nearby. By the time I reached the bus stand I was dripping wet. There was no network so I couldn’t contact my parents. I knew they were worrying too but I waited at the bus stop for the rain to subside so that I could make my way back home safely. Standing there I observed the violent side of nature. Many trees gave into the fury of the gale and some of them got uprooted blocking a certain part of the road. The rain kept unrelentingly and slowly the road started flooding. I could see billboards being ripped off by the furious wind. It was almost an hour after which the storm awaited. With unmatched difficulties I reached home. My family on seeing me safe and sound, heaved a sigh of relief .
