Dear Diary,
Last Saturday, me and my classmates went to the national zoo. There were so many types of animals in the zoo. All my friends where really happy seeing the animals and they even went close to the cages which made some animals angry and activated ther instinctive habits. They even complained about the animals about to ‘pounce’ on them. The sight was saddening. These animals deserve to be in their natural habitat i.e the forest. They weren’t showpieces or anything. They deserved to have a voice. Its just like putting a human in the cage. By putting the animals in cages, they are depriving them of their natural life. I believe the caged birds song is not a carol of joy but a prayer to God to set them free. (Reference: Poem Sympathy) Everyone should respect animals. They deserve to hunt and run free, not to be mere showpieces for people to see. I would love to see them in their natural habitat rather than in cages. Anyway, my mom’s telling me wash the dishes so I really got to go!

hey,diary!
I visited the zoo last week it was fun but i also felt for the animals!! They shouldn't be trapped in cages or a barricated area. Just because we want to see them! It is not fair for them after all, they can't even express their pain! If they express we shouldn't cage them! sad! No? Even though some animals were taken care of but still it wasn't satisfying. not such a good day! :(
