The length of the kitchen is = 2m = 200cm

The breadth of the kitchen is = 1m = 100cm

Area of the kitchen is = 200×100 = 20,000

The length of the tile is = 20cm

The breadth of the tile is = 10cm

Area of the tile is = 20×10 = 200cm

Number of tiles required to pave the floor = 20,000÷200= 100 tiles
