Last week, I had asked my father to take me fishing as it was a holiday and I did not know anything to do. He took me the next day. We went to that far side of the river where other people had been catching lots of fishes.
Catching none, my dad took us deeper into the waters and we waited patiently for our lines to catch at least one fish. We even competed to see who got one first. Then, maybe after a couple of hours, it suddenly started to rain out of nowhere. the sky became cloudy before but it wasn't that cloudy so we did not heed much attention to it. In that downpour, our boat would not start which made me really scared. My dad kept on assuring me that this wasn't that deep and we will be fine. Then, while trying to make the motor work, my dad slipped and fell into the water. In his effort to get back on the boat and my attempts to help him, our boat capsized and even I was on the water. Panicking, I screamed and shouted, thinking all the time that this was it. We are going to die.
But my dad managed to turn the boat upright and he crawled in, then helped me into the boat too. We couldn't retrieve all of our things from the water but we are safe and that's all that mattered in our minds. We went home drenched, shaken but safe. I was so happy to be back inside the house and not out in the sea.
