The District Magistrate’s son’s 20th birthday was held in the Town Hall building yesterday with full pomp and gaiety. Almost all important dignitaries and media people were present for the occasion. The magistrate had ordered various cuisines. There were also many different types of drinks to mark the celebration.

Unfortunately, a lot of food was remaining after the waste. The food could have been to the domestic help at the Magistrate’s house or donated to other orphanages. It was really sad to see everything being thrown into the dust bin. This was the only sore point of the occasion. One of the dignitaries actually suggested doing this, but the idea was not given consideration.
