Answer:

               My Uncle’s Beautiful Village

Last summer I went to my uncle’s village in Himachal Pradesh during the vacation. The beauty of my uncle’s village is ineffable. It is situated on the top of a mountain. It has just a few houses situated remotely from one another. It overlooks a beautiful dell through which a silver rivulet flows like a silver thread. On the either side of the rivulet are terraced fields in which grow flowers and plants of attractive and bright hues. The climate surrounding the village is always pleasant. It is a perfect paradise of beautiful things and quietness. There is no din of city life here. The sky is always pure azure; and the clouds are as white and appear as if huge pure white cotton bales are flitting merrily. Beyond the valley are the undulating mountains covered with pristine forests. I just love to go this sylvan spot.

Answer:

I have never visited a village until my uncle invited us to visit his farmhouse in U.P.

I was thrilled to ride a tractor to home.

During my journey, I witnessed the simple lifestyle of the villagers doing their chores around houses made of bamboo, clay and mud.

Most of their households have cows and hens and they feed on fresh organic produces from the fields.

I was in awe for the swathes of paddy fields and what looked most intriguing to me was the common village well.

Their means of transport is the cow drawn carriages unlike buses and auto-rickshaws in the cities.

I must admit the family-like unity there melted my heart.
