Answer:

The clock struck 6. The sun peeked from behind the white puffs of cotton. I looked at my messages. It was from HPA? What does that stand for? 'Hello People and Aliens? Nope. My jaw hit the floor upon reading the message by HPA that was apparently an abbreviation for Health Protection Agency. My eyes scanned the letters and words. I sat there for about 30 minutes as I tried to gloss over the fact that our country was in the middle of a pandemic.

I heaved a sigh. A long sigh. I was looking forward to spend time at grandpa's.  I missed him. He always spent time with me and taught me about his work. I would join him in his carpentry work and try to copy him. I still do. My face fell upon remembering that I wouldn't be seeing him for a long time.

I spent my days sitting around and trying to help my mom in the kitchen. I was no good at cooking, I was better at carpentry, thanks to my grandpa. I video chatted with him, but it wasn't the same. My parents felt bad, seeing me so down. Eventually, they got me an iPad. I was so grateful! I hate to admit it but that helped me pass time. I edited pictures, videos and sent them to my friends and family. I made cards for people on their birthdays, weddings and other special occasions... Before I knew it, I was making money!

Sure, I was having a lot of fun, but I never forgot about grandpa. I split my income with him, I even send cards everyday! Speaking of which, I need to find a good combination with blue... It's his favorite!

This isn't exactly 300, but I hope this helps!
