You were asked to make a Kaleidoscope by your teacher for a school project. But no plane mirrors are available with you. How will you construct the Kaleidoscope without the plane mirror? Do you think it will work as good as a kaleidoscope with plane mirrors? Write a report in 4 to 6 sentences. Consider the following points-a. What alternate materials/ tools you will use instead of the plane mirror?. How will you assemble those to construct the Kaleidoscope? How will these modifications affect the performance of the Kaleidoscope?

Answer:

I would take 3 extremely polished metal strips of equal length and breadth.

Explanation:

The reason for takin metal strips is because they are highly reflective due to which manier times it cause not so clear but understandable reflection.

I will assemble all three metal strips with 60° angle between the strips and at the end some glitters for the object. and at the other end I'll attach a glass to view the image formed.

since it's an extremely polished metal therefore it will reflect most of the light and cause a symmetric design in the kaliedoscope.

I have not written the ans in points so please bear with it as I have done this from phone

than you.
