Dear diary,
I am in a very bad mood today. I was fiddling with papa's iPhone today and it fell off my hands and cracked its glass. It was by mistake, of course, but I feel awful. I know how expensive the phone is and I didn't know what to do. When papa came and saw what I had done, he was angry at first and started asking me how I could have been so irresponsible and not taken care. I understood that it was my mistake and I told him I was sorry. He didn't listen to me and just walked out at first but soon after some time, he came and sat with me and told me that he was sorry for shouting. He told me that he understood that I had not done this on purpose and that he would just get the cracked glass replaced. I am so lucky to have him as my father.

My heart skipped a beat and I started panicking. Slowly, I bent down to take the phone. To my horror, I found that the screen had a nasty crack. I was quite afraid Papa would scold me because it was this phone that he used for his official purposes. He had told me many times not to take his phone. But, I had done so without his knowledge and kept it back intact. But today, I had landed myself in trouble.

I decided to keep it back in place before anyone noticed anything. I managed to keep the iPhone in its place without anyone seeing me. But, just as I turned back, I saw my Dad watching me. He immediately took the phone and noticed the cracked screen. I expected him to scold me, but all that he said was he would have to spend a few thousands to get the screen set right. Since the display was still visible, he decided not to change the screen right then. I felt very upset about the whole thing. It would not have been so bad if Papa had scolded me. I learnt a lesson that day.  I promised myself that I would not take anything that did not belong to me.
