Dear Diary:

$<font color = 'black '>I am very sad! Today, I inadvertently killed a black cat. I was going to school on my scooter, when suddenly a frightened cat tried to cross the road; but unfortunately was run over! I stopped the scooter, and ran to it to take it to a veterinarian; alas! The cat had died on the spot. It lay in the middle of the road with blood spreading around it. I felt so regretful, penitent, and remorseful. Though it was not my fault, but I kept feeling upset! I have not shared it with anyone. Should I share it with mom? Shall my scooter be taken from me? What can I do? Is my repentance of any use? Diary, I promise you in future I will be extra vigilant while riding scooter.$
