This is 300 words exactly, hope you can use it! Took me about 20 minutes, heh.

Recently I had the honor to be apart of a student exchange program. The family I stayed with in the magnificent United Kingdom were the kindest people I'd ever met. They took me around the city of London many times. They welcomed me into their home and I became very close to them very quickly. The city moves very fast and can be very overwhelming sometimes. Thankfully they helped me out a lot and I was able to adjust very quickly. In such a big city, there are sure to be many different people with many different cultures. My family happened to be from an Asian background, Chinese to be specific. Every meal was delicious and different from anything I'd ever tasted before. Extremely authentic, nothing like a common Chinese restaurant. While in London, I made many friends at my school. The different accents were evident of the different regions of the U.K. that the kids came from. Learning the slang of the population here took some time but eventually, I got used to it and started using it myself. The school curriculum was a whole other story in itself. Not only did the teachers there go at a much, much faster pace than back home, but the learning material was also different too! Some stuff they were just learning we already covered, and other things they'd already learned, we'd never even covered! Thankfully I had a tutor that helped me out. Speaking of my tutor, she lives in an apartment right in the middle of the city. I loved visiting her because it meant I got to see the hustle and bustle of the big city. All in all, the country is a wonderful place, and so is the city of London. I can't wait to visit again soon!
