LAST NIGHT I WAS STUDYING NEAR MY WINDOW AND SAW THE NEIGHBOUR'S HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE. WE ALL MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY RUSHED TOWARDS THE HOUSE AND CALLED THE FIRE BRIGADE. THEN, ALL WERE RESCUED AND TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. BUT, UNFORTUNATELY, ONE OF THE TWO CHILDREN WAS DEAD. AND, THE POLICE SAID THAT THE FIRE WAS DUE TO THE SHORT CIRCUIT IN THE HOUSE.

MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST PLEASE !!!
That night, I was awake burning midnight oil and studying for my final examination. It was around 0130 hours when I noticed the smell of burning woods, and realised that something was on fire. I ran down thinking the fire took place somewhere inside my home, but I couldn't trace anything. It was then that I realised the smoke was coming in from the street, and walked out of my instincts.
I walked to the road across the porch and what I saw was really spine chilling, the house 3 doors next to ours caught fire and was burning fiercely. I immediately went in and tapped rapidly on the door of my dad's room. He woke up, noticed the burning smell, thought our house was on fire and slam-opened the door. He came out hurriedly asked me where was the fire at? I told him that it isn't our home but the neighbor's. He asked me to call the local fire department and barged out of the house to wake up everyone else in the neighborhood. I called, the fire station answered,, they wrote down our address as I spoke and told me that they should be at the place in about five minutes.
I walked out of the house and saw everyone from around the neighborhood were out and were tying to control the fire by splashing on some water, everyone was tensed and no one knew if they'd be able to pull this off but they were relieved for one thing, that the house was empty 'cause the owners were out of town for some business deals. I told my dad, who was splashing water on the burning house like a outhouse rat, that I've called the fire department and they should be here anytime now.
The fire department deployed it's men and in less than five minutes they reported at the scene and took the charge. Three fire-brigade trucks were working really hard to put out the fire. It took 15 straight minutes for those hard working men to take control of the situation, whose wrath could be felt meters away.
The fire burned down the most of the house to grounds, half of the property served severe damage and the neighborhood was filled with the dust of ashes which swirled from the burning piece of the massive hearthstone. No human like was injured and perhaps it was the only part that was worth rejoicing that day.
