March 29, 2016. An Egyptian man hijacked an EgyptAir domestic flight from Alexandria to Cairo with 72 passengers and crew aboard. The hijacker, Seif Eddin Mustafa, who had a fake suicide belt, diverted the plane to Larnaca Airport in Cyprus where all aboard were safely released
