solution:

x2+(a+1)x+b is a quadratic polynomial.

Now there are two relationships between zeroes and cofficients.

1st one is :

Product of zeroes =constant term divided by cofficient of x2

Using above relation:

2×−3=b÷1

b=−6

2nd Relation is:

Sum of zeroes = - coefficient of xdivided by cofficient of x2

Using this relation:

2+(−3)=−(a+1)/1

−1=−a−1

a=0

PS: You can compare the polynomial with standard form of quadratic polynomial to determine cofficients.

Standard form of quadratic polynomial = ax2+bx+c

Where a,b & c are constants.
