Answers
Answer:
Autotrophic nutrition
Only plants are capable of combining simple inorganic substances into complex organic ones capable of sustaining life. An organism which can carry out this method of nutrition is said to be autotrophic which means self-feeding. There are two types of autotrophic nutrition, chemosynthesis and photosynthesis.
Heterotrophic nutrition
Heterotrophic nutrition is a type of nutrition in which organisms depend upon other organisms for food to survive. Heterotrophic organisms have to take in all the organic substances they need to survive. All animals, fungi, and non-photosynthesizing plants are heterotrophic.
Replenishment of nutrients in the soil
When fertilisers and manures are added to the soil in the fields, then the soil gets enriched with nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, etc. The crop plants can then grow well in this soil.
