Dear diary,

Today I was coming back from school. Suddenly I saw two children quarraling with each other. I went there. They saw me and ignored. Then I hold their hands and asked why are they quarraling. One of them said that he has taken my chocolate. I smiled and asked them to stop quarraling. It is not good to fight on these minor issues. I told them that we must live with love and care for each other. We must try to help each other if possible. I asked them to say sorry to each other. They understood what I said and said sorry to each other.

I am very happy that I taught two children about moral value of life.

Good night!

Dear Diary,

Today I heard the children of our colony playing cricket in the small open space. I could hear them making jokes of each other and laughing. Suddenly I heard angry shoutings. I opened my window to see and hear what was happening. I was surprised that even the parents have come and joined the quarreling.

I ran to the playground. I told the parents and the children that in games and sports nobody can win all the time. Sometimes we win and sometimes we lose. When we lost a game we should accept it and hope to win another time. This is good sportsmanship. Parents should not blindly support their children. This only teaches their children indiscipline and bad manners. I felt happy to be there as a peacemaker. I am confident that there will be no more quarreling in the playground of our colony.
