Technological progress - profit or loss for us :-

Today I'm going to tell about we are progressing.
Don't know why we are not able to run with the fast growing technology. Everyday there are so many new gadgets and software in the world of electronics that only dedicated consumers can walk side by side with it. We get worried thinking about the days of the future, when everything in our imaginations will be within our reach, at least not directly on the screen. If seen, today we can get any item from any corner of the world; Provided we must have sufficient funds. Gone are the days when people's lives depended on local things.
Whether it is a wooden plow or a 4g mobile phone, technology has been an integral part of this world. And it has its benefits. But there is a big danger in the modern world. Technological advancements have made enjoyment and leisure fun easily attainable. By fun we mean momentary happiness. We think that leisure will provide lasting happiness and achievement to our hearts. In fact, this thinking is a big mistake.
Already in the temptation of the physical world, the spirit soul is imprisoned in the darkness of ignorance, the bombardment of technological progress from above. This progress, if not physically, can at least mentally bring us to the grounds of fun. We can see the events happening in the world on a screen as big as a wall, sitting in our closed room. But because of looking outside all the time, we have forgotten to look inside ourselves. What is the result? Despite being so much entertainment, we are bored. There is always resentment.
The scriptures, the great saints and our own experiences teach that happiness remains far away from us even after getting the desired thing for happiness. Our unquenchable desires move us to achieve more and more. Our situation becomes similar to that of a deer wandering in search of fragrance, who does not know that the source of the fragrance of fragrance is in his stomach.
But even after experiencing repeated dissatisfaction, is it possible to refuse opportunities for fun? The Vedic scriptures assure this. Basically we are all souls. Lord Krishna is God and we are part of him. In our original state, there is an innate attraction towards Krishna in our heart. No condition of the universe can destroy that attraction. He can be covered for some time. In fact, the attraction of the soul towards Shri Krishna is stronger than all the temptations of the physical world. But like the stubborn children, we are determined to remain free from Shri Krishna and enjoy ourselves. Iron is attracted to the spontaneous magnet but corrosion mounted on it prevents it from being attracted to the magnet. The desire to enjoy separation from God is a war on the consciousness of the individual.
Iron cuts iron. Technological progress can also help us to awaken the attraction towards Shri Krishna. Provided that we should have knowledge of the art of this.
Technological progress has been a valuable contribution to our lives. We are grateful to him. Thanks to the machines, in which books are published, knowledge of Lord Krishna is obtained. We thank the ship that went to America with Srila Prabhupada and also the airplanes in which Srila Prabhupada traveled all over the earth and preached.
