Young plants wilt on a hot sunny day.

In younger plants roots are not properly spread inside soil to meet the demand of water as it is constantly lost from plant through transpiration on sunny day thats why they wilt.

In short during sunny day rate of transpiration exceeds rate of absorption causing younger plant to wilt....
