TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION Teacher, you are an inspiration for me... Teacher’s Day In My School Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara. Guru Sakshath Parambrahma, Tasmai Shri Gurave Namaha. Teacher's Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in many parts of the world. The day is dedicated to teachers, who play a prominent role in the life of their students. The teachers act as the guide for life, show the path towards success and enrich the personality of their disciples by imparting ethical and academic knowledge. They bring out the untamed talents of their students and sharpen it in order to bring out the best results. The teacher’s day at my school was celebrated on 4th September, 2009. Even though it was celebrated one day before the original teacher’s day we still had the same amount of fun that we would have had on the 5th. It was a very exciting day for the students because they got to teach children of lower classes. It was a very enlightening experience for them as they got to know the trouble and the fun that teachers had while teaching children of a class. They were very happy. The party started at 5:00 p.m. All the students who were going to perform on that day www.iisjapan.com z Inside IISJz September 2009, Issue.No.8 for the teachers were all fully geared up. There was a dance, some jokes and plays. After that we celebrated our teacher, Mrs. Sucheta’s birthday. We also had great food to eat'; there were samosas, coke and some cake. After all that, everyone was tired so our happy gathering for Teacher’s day came to a happy ending. We all hope there will be just another celebration like this one next year too.
