Dear brother,
How are you? Everything is well at my end and hope the same with you. In this letter, I wanted to tell you some dos and don'ts about life in the hostel. In the hostel, you need to respect the elders and be friendly with your classmates. Also, you need to follow the rules of the hostel and act accordingly. You should not interfere in anyone's personal lives and do not force anyone to follow your ways. Be specific with your work and try to gain the maximum things you can.
For now, I’m ending the letter. Will talk about it more in another letter. Take care of yourself.
Your loving brother

Dear Jatin:
I hope this letter finds you in fantastic health and mood. I hope you are enjoying your hostel life also. Well, I am writing this letter to tell you a few dos and don’ts. First of all the don’ts. You should never waste your time. At hostel there is no monitoring of parents; you may fall into bad habits suggested by your dormitory mates. You should never take advantage of being away from home. You have gone there to study and improve your personality. You should never forget this purpose. You should not eat too much of fast food from the canteen.
Now some dos. You should follow the hostel academic and co-curricular activities schedule sincerely. You should always attend your preps. You should respect all your tutors, coaches, and trainers.
Finally, at hostel you have more responsibility to look after you. You should never do anything that will bring bad name to your school, teachers, and parents.
I hope you will keep these basic dos and don’ts always in mind. The rest is fine. Mom and Dad send you lots of love. We will come to meet you on August 5, 2019.
Yours lovingly,
Puneet
