Shivaji Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal in the school on 20 February 2018
The celebration began with the welcome speech by Sujal Sangole , student from class IX A. Sarthraj Kadam gave some important facts of Shivaji Maharaj in Marathi.
Utkarsh Khadse and the choir group sang a powada on the velour and bravery of Shivaji Maharaj.
Mrudula Mahajan, Principal of the school addressed the students, said that Shivaji Maharaj did not have huge army inspite of it he founded Swarajya by defeating Mughals and Adilshahis. Inspite of short in height Shivaji Maharaj killed huge Afzal Khan by using his intelligence.
Sangita Agrawal, Academic Director of the school addressed the students.
The celebration concluded with vote of thanks by Sujal Sangole.
