Your classmate says that if all molecules in a particular liquid had the same speed, and some were able to evaporate, the remaining liquid would not undergo cooling. Do you agree or disagree and what is your explanation to support your answer?

I'd disagree with your classmate because the molecules which evaporate would presumably take heat away from the liquid and thus help in cooling.
But as all the molecules have the same speed ,then it is possible that they'd all take away the same amount of heat. So, maybe the cooling would be less. But no cooling according to me is a big no-no.
