Create an incredibly good design and functionalities for your smartphone that make it unique. I would suggest you build a good software base that characterizes it(remember that the smartphone industry is very difficult to enter because android and windows are the only alternatives to Apple. You can build the best phone in the world but if it runs android, it will be as other phones and unlikely succeed)

Make someone produce the first prototype (China, India etc.)

Make sure the prototype works well.

Show it to investors and explain to them why your phone is so amazing (Make sure you have an economic plan for the phone. Why is it cool? Low price? High Price but tons of features? Hardware Functionalities no one has?

Get funded and start producing it for the market. If you don't get funds, don't do it because you will risk to spend a lot of your personal money on something that can't be successful without heavy investments in marketing, research and production.
