We should clearly say 'No' in such a situation.
Why should we say no?
- Lying to parents is not okay. We should realize that parents are our guardians.
- Hence, we should always speak truth to our parents. If a thing is good for us, they will never stop us from it. But if it is a bad thing, then only do they stop.
- To save one lie, a person has to tell numerous other lies. Lying is not a good habit and we should avoid it.
