Your elder sister learnt pottery as a hobby in college but is now been to start her own pottery studio/shop and earn her living your parents feel that she should continue to study and choose a safe career discuss with your partner what you could do to help your sister and what steps you should suggest to help/resolve the issue

I would tell my sister to choose that career in which she has her confidence and also listen to her heart. I would also tell her that go to that field in which she has her own interests and make my parents understand that how could she do other career if she has interests in other field. At last, I  would also help her in opening a new shop for her.
