Solution :-

Let the annual salary be x

Since bonus is equal to 8% of annual salary

therefore,

2800 = 8% of x

$=>\: 2800\: =\: {\dfrac{8 \times x}{100}}$

$=>\: x\: =\: {\dfrac{2800 \times 100}{8}}$

=> x = 35000

Therefore, annual salary is 35,000
