Your father purchase a woolen sweater for you. It is labeled as 'pure wool' how do you check its purity?

if we put a woollen sweater near the lighted match stick ,if it is a pure wool it won't catch fire easily whereas if it is a mixed fibre wool will melt as it contains man made polymers!
