Solution:

Bill at the restaurant is  $30

Tip amount = Tip percent x Total amount

Tip amount = 15 percent x 30

                   = $\frac{15}{100}$ x 30

                   = $ 4.5

Total amount to be left = Bill amount + Tip amount

                                       =  $ 30 +  $ 4.5

                                       =  $ 34.5

Therefore, the total money to be left by the person is  $ 34.5.
