Falling down while learning to use a bicycle is common. There is a popular saying that “one will not learn to cycle unless he takes a couple of falls’’. Falling down teaches us what not to do and how to correct the situation.

It is very easy to give up but once it is learnt, then the sense of balance is there to stay for life. Another saying that should throw light on the situation is “failure is a stepping stone to success”. Falling down is often considered as a failure, but instead of giving up, if one were to continue learning, it teaches them the nuances of gaining balance on a bicycle.
