your friend has bought a mobile phone which was found to be faulty next day. How can you help him with consumer rights

According to my consumer rights I will help my friend by taking him to the shopkeeper to do take the phone in return and give a new one .
If the shopkeeper refused to do that so , I will legally go to court and complain about this issue .
Then the shop will be given a right counseling
