Your friend has forgotten to bring something they need in school what would you do in this situation

If my friend has forgotten to bring something which is needed in school, I would try in all possible ways to help him. If I have that thing, surely I will give that to my friend or else I will ask my other friends and other classmate if they are having or not.

If no one has that thing, then I will advised my friend to ask prior information to the class teacher. So that they will make the correct decision
