This is an ASL speaking prompt. The following discussion can
be helpful in the actual discussion:
A: Well, I guess she does not share her health problems neither with the
teachers, nor with any of the classmates just because she feels embarrassed
discussing it with others.
B: We need to take her to the school counselor. She will put her perspective
right. We can give her a pep talk ourselves, can't we?
A: Sure, we can. We need to tell her the positive side of life. We are living
in very positive times, where everything is possible. We need to tell her to
use alternative ways of healing such as self-healing through positive thinking
or meditation; we can also tell her about so many other efficient therapies available.
B: Yes there are so many self-healing books available. Louis L Hay's You Can
Heal Your Life is an outstanding book. We can pool up money and gift her book.
A: We also need to tell her not to miss her studies, as it may have some
serious repercussions on her final exams.
B: We also need to talk to our class teacher and class mates to treat her with
extra care so that she feel quite comfortable and protected in their company.
A: We also need to talk to her parents not to encourage her take leaves from
the school so often.
B: Yes. It all is sounding so positive. In the evening we will go to her place
and reason with her.
