I would advise her in the following manner:

1.       Your poor performance in the examination is the indicator of your own negligence, mismanagement, and carelessness. You have reaped what you sowed. Your addiction to TV and mobile has affected your performance drastically. Your becoming upset is natural. However, your blaming the teachers for your poor performance is another mistake you are committing. You are passing the buck won’t help you at all! It will further weaken you; it will further worsen your performance. If you really want to make amends for the poor performance and improve, accept the truth. You yourself are the culprit.

2.       Wise men say there is no use of crying over the spilt milk. The past cannot be undone. The best option for you will be to muster all your energies and focus them on the coming exams. Stop using mobile and watching TV altogether. Make a time table and conscientiously stick to it. Study, revise, practice, and solve sample papers.  If you need my help, I am ready to study with you. if you feel you need extra-classes for math, enroll yourself with an institute. Brooding and pining over the past mistakes won’t let you prepare for the coming exams. All great personages suffered failures. Failures are an integral part of success. Just learn the needed lessons and move on.

3. I have complete confidence in your capabilities. You can do wonders. All you need is reorientation. So please put your acts together and start studying seriously. We all are with you in your efforts for improvement and reformation. You are very strong, and I know in the coming exams you will bring laurels to your family, school and friends.
