Well its effecting both the persons life and yours if you want to put it in a way. She might lose time like going to school or work by playing constantly. She could also lost important dates like doctor visits family dinners or parties. Plus if shes in a relation ship with either a lover or friend they might lose them too. And in a serious case she could be driving and get into a accident or plain simple lose her chance to succeed do to a game holding her back. On your side she can become not trusted because she lacks free time for helping you or other friends, of at some point she can become a dead weight. If your studying and trying to help her and she wont give in she`ll hold you back from your career. She could even become dangerous because you`ll worry whether she`ll get into that said accident. And important if your the her lover you`ll quickly end the relationship because both parties are not equally pleased. In all a true friend would listen to one another over a addiction like this and would probably try there best to over come it.
