Today my best friend Vivek helped me out of a very difficult situation. When I was going to the shop , my wallet slipped out of my pocket. I did not know that. and then I went to shop and I took all the items I needed. and I got my items bill. And when the person asked me money , I realised that I lost my wallet. I did not know what to do because the items were already billed and I could not return them. It was the horrible experience ever. But exactly at that time my friend Vivek noticed me and asked me why I was so worried and I told everything. My friend did not even take a second to pay my bill. When I took my items and searched for him, he disappeared. and thank god he gave me such a friend and in my way to home , I even found my wallet. But I am feeling very awkward because Anurag helped me and did not even thanked him. Tomorrow I will surely go to him home , thank him and even return the money.

Diary entry on a friend helping me out of a difficult situation:

Saturday, 30th July 2022

Time:3:00 p.m.

Dear Diary

Today was such a challenging day. We had to submit our science project files. All of us expected the teacher to be on leave because she was quite unwell yesterday, and so, I did not bother completing it. Surprisingly, she came to school and also remembered to collect the files. Whoever had not completed the work, was sternly questioned about it. I did not have an excuse ready, so I asked Manroop for a good one. She told me not to lie, but to accept my mistake and tell her the truth. I couldn’t do that either, because then she would scold me in front of the entire class and that would be terribly embarrassing. I kept thinking of an excuse, though Manroop kept encouraging me to be honest. When it was finally my turn, I blurted out the truth. To my surprise, the teacher was not angry at all. Instead, she was pleased that I hadn’t lied and gave me two extra days to complete it. Manroop had guided me well. She had stopped me from lying, and then feeling guilty about it. As difficult as it seemed, being honest was indeed the best way out. I will get her a chocolate tomorrow and also complete the file tonight.
